Hello!  My name is Katie Szychowski (Pronounced Sh-uh-husky)  I graduated in 2006 from College Misericordia with a dual degree in Elementary and Early Childhood education.  Since then, I have taught PreK, K, 1st and 2nd grade.  I have spent the majority of my career in Kindergarten.  I am currently persuing a STEM certification.  

I took a break from teaching to begin a family and resumed teaching last year.  My family and I moved to York this summer. My daughter and I are thrilled to be part of the Holy Trinity Family.  In my spare time I enjoy family game nights!  I have never been known to turn down a dish of ice cream or a good flea market!   I look forward to learning about your child this school year.  

Kindergarten: Supply List

• Backpack (Full size - at least 10 x 13 inches)
• 3 glue sticks
• 1 Packages of 6 oz Drinking Cups 
• 1 box of zip lock snack bags
• 6 Rolls of Paper Towels 
• 4 Bottles of Clorox Wipes
• 4 Packages of Baby Wipes
• 4 Boxes of Tissues (Family Size)
• Small Travel Pillow and Small Blanket (Nap)
  • This could also be a nap mat that has the pillow attached!
• 1 Water Bottle for Children
• 3 Pairs of Underwear
  • Please Label with a Permanent Marker
• 3 Sets of Extra Clothes (Shirt and Bottoms)
  • In Case of Accidents
  • Does Not Need to Be Uniform
  • Please Send Clothes for Each Season (Fall, Winter, Spring/Summer)
  • Write Name on Each Tag with a Permanent Marker
• Art Shirt - An Old Adult T-shirt Works Great!
